DNA Sports Wrap Show airs Thursday nights from 7-8 p.m. on NBC Sports Radio AM 1060 as hosted by David Jones, “Big Play” Ray Ellis and Scott Mammoser.
David Jones: A retired professional basketball player from Suitland, Maryland, Jones’ professional career took him to the Netherlands to play for eight seasons. He now owns a company, Positive Image Sports, where the last 19 years he has been introducing former and current professional athletes to young people within his community. The goal is to inspire the young athletes to excel in school, follow their dreams, set reachable goals and give God the very best. David is a licensed and ordained minister who has used that platform to save souls and change lives.
“Big Play” Ray Ellis: Known in the NFL as “Big Play” Ray Ellis, this Ohio native began preparing for his career in football at an early age. After completing high school, Ellis went on to follow his football dreams as a star player at The Ohio State University. He was drafted in the 1981 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles. Ellis’ career came full circle, retiring as a member of the Cleveland Browns after racking up 427 tackles, 14 interceptions, 9 forced fumbles and 6 fumble recoveries throughout his career. Ellis has been active with Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Special Olympics, United Way, United Negro Fund and the National Center for Missing Children.
Scott Mammoser: A graduate in journalism from Buffalo State College, contributor Scott Mammoser has reported on world championship events for the IAAF, FIBA and ISU. Mammoser currently freelances for various websites and can often be seen covering the Phoenix Mercury, and the sports teams at Arizona State University. An active sports enthusiast, Mammoser is a veteran of six Olympics as a spectator and world traveler of 50 different countries.
