A SIX PACK OF CARDINALS-RAMS KNOWLEDGE

BOTTOMLINE
*RAMS 34, CARDINALS 11: So much for being 8-1 on the road during the regular season. Just like the regular season, the Cardinals were not ready for prime time in the post season, falling to 0-4 in the 2021 season.
*KYLER MURRAY ADDED ANOTHER CHAPTER TO THE IS HE A FRANCHISE QUARTERBACK QUESTION: Murray clearly was totally overwhelmed, resulting in multiple inaccurate throws and poor decisions.
*KLIFF KINGSBURY WAS DOMINATED AGAIN BY SEAN MCVAY: McVay is now 10-1 straight up and against the spread versus the Cardinals and 6-1 SU and ATS versus Kingsbury, who like his quarterback, was not ready for the big stage. There is now zero question that the Cardinals 37-20 win on October 3rd was a fluke. The Rams outscored the Cardinals in the subsequent two games 64-34.
*THE HALFTIME STATS WERE A JOKE: The Cardinals averaged 1.5 yards per play, the second fewest in the first half of a playoff game over the last 20 seasons. Also, the Cardinals went three and out five of their first seven possessions. It was such a whipping that the Cardinals have a snap in Rams territory until 6:36 remained IN THE THIRD QUARTER down 28-0.
*THE CARDINALS LAST THREE FIRST-ROUND PICKS WERE NON-FACTORS: 2021 first rounder Zaven Collins finished his zero rookie season with few snaps on Monday night … 2020 first rounder Isaiah Simmons is far more disappointing. On Monday night, Simmons was not on the field when the Cardinals anticipated a Rams run, replaced by Tanner Vallejo. And 2019 overall first pick Murray was bad in all four prime time games this season (the two losses to the Rams plus home losses to the Packers and Colts).
*THE CARDINALS DID GET FIVE PLAYERS BACK FROM INJURY: James Conner, Chase Edmonds, Rondale Moore, J.J. Watt and Marco Wilson all played.
