A SIX PACK OF CARDINALS-TITANS KNOWLEDGE

BOTTOMLINE
*CARDINALS 38, TITANS 13: The Cardinals surprisingly dominated the line of scrimmage. The Cardinals outrushed the Titans 136-84 and held Derrick Henry to 58 yards (3.4 yards per carry). Last season, Henry rushed for 2,027 yards and 5.4 yards per carry.
*CHANDLER JONES FINISHED WITH A CAREER HIGH FIVE SACKS, INCLUDING TWO FORCED FUMBLES: Three different Tennessee offensive tackles, including Valley product Taylor Lewan, had no chance in pass protection. Jones had just one sack last season before a season ending biceps injury in Game Five.
*THE CARDINALS USED ALL THREE INSIDE LINEBACKERS: More than occasionally, Jordan Hicks and Zaven Collins were at the standard inside spots while Isaiah Simmons was lined up as an edge rusher.
*KYLER MURRAY ACCOUNTED FOR ALL FIVE CARDINALS’ TOUCHDOWNS: He
completed 21 of 32 passes for 289 yards and a career-high four touchdowns (two each to DeAndre Hopkins and Christian Kirk) and ran for the fifth score.
*KLIFF KINGSBURY UTILIZED MULTIPLE FORMATIONS WITH HIS PLAYCALLING: There were many plays with two eight ends, some snaps with James Conner and Chase Edmonds both on the field and the Murray goal line touchdown was a bootleg to the right after defensive linemen Leki Fotu and J.J. Watt were lined up as running backs to the left.
*THE CARDINALS INACTIVE LIST INCLUDED ENO BENJAMIN, AGAIN: That’s 17 of 17 games in two seasons for Benjamin. And, to repeat, from last season, why is he on the roster? … Also, another inactive player in Week One was Chris Streveler, another wasted roster spot.
