A SIX PACK OF CBK KNOWLEDGE

BOTTOMLINE
*THE CURRENT DUKE PLAYERS COLLAPSED IN THE SPOTLIGHT: If they couldn’t beat the struggling Tar Heels in Coach K’s going away party, it seems highly unlikely they rise up during the NCAA Tournament knowing a loss is end for their Hall of Fame coach.
*THE REGULAR SEASON PLAYER OF THE YEAR DRAMA ENDED: Only Kentucky’s Oscar Tshiebwe should get a vote after dominating the glass and at the defensive end while improving his offensive skills.
*UCLA APPEARS READY FOR A RUN: The Bruins have been healthy for just a handful of games this season, including Saturday night when Mick Cronin finally beat USC after five consecutive losses since getting the UCLA job.
*USC APPEARS VULNERABLE: The Trojans don’t look battle tested having face just two teams (Arizona and UCLA) currently projected to be in the NCAA field by most bracketologists.
*OREGON LOOKS FINISHED: The Ducks ended the regular season with five losses in their last six games, including consecutive non-competitive losses to end the regular season – 78-67 at Washington and 94-74 at Washington State.
*STANFORD IS POORLY COACHED: The Cardinal and Jerod Haase have lost five straight and seven of eight entering their first-round Pac 12 Conference Tournament game on Wednesday afternoon against Arizona State.
