A SIX PACK OF KNOWLEDGE – ASU @ UTAH

BOTTOMLINE
*UTAH 35, ASU 21: In an inexcusable total collapse, ASU was outscored 28-0 after taking a seemingly in commanding 21-7 halftime lead. ASU failed to score on any of its four second-half while Utah scored touchdowns in all second-half possessions.
*THE SECOND HALF WAS SURPRISING: ASU was previously 17-1 when leading at halftime under Herm Edwards.
*MAYBE IT’S THE STATE OF UTAH: ASU is 0-2 with the losses at Provo and Salt Lake City, but 5-0 everywhere else.
*THE FLAG FESTIVAL CONTINUED: ASU entered leading the Pac 12 Conference in penalties and showed no hope for improvement with 13 more for 115 yards.
*JAYDEN DANIELS GOT LITTLE HELP: The experienced offensive line was poor in pass protection and the average receiving group lived down to the billing with at least five drops.
*ON THE INJURY FRONT: Chase Lucas (back), Evan Fields (hamstring) and Johnny Wilson (hamstring) did not play).
