A SIX PACK OF PRE-DRAFT KNOWLEDGE

*THE CARDINALS ARE LOOKING TO ADD SPEED ON OFFENSE: That’s some of the league-wide draft buzz. Hopefully, that does not mean Steve Keim is looking select a receiver with the 16th selection.
*THE CARDINALS HAVE BEEN FREQUENTLY CONNECTED WITH CALEB FARLEY IN MOCK DRAFTS: The Virginia Tech corner has been red-flagged by some teams after two back surgeries, the second on April 2nd that could keep him off the field up to four months.
*THE BRONCOS ACQUIRED TEDDY BRIDGEWATER TODAY FROM THE PANTHERS: That addition signifies the Broncos will not be moving up from the ninth selection to select a quarterback, a popular pre-draft rumor, especially involving the Dolphins at #6.
*HOWEVER, DON’T BE SURPRISED IF THE BRONCOS TRADE DOWN FROM #9: If Trey Lance or Justin Fields are still available, the Patriots, currently at #15 could be a trade partner with Denver. With 10 picks in this draft, the Patriots have enough ammunition to move up.
*THE PACKERS HAVE NOT SELECTED A WIDE RECEIVER IN THE FIRST ROUND SINCE 2002: Some believe on Thursday night they will opt for versatile University of Minnesota wideout Rashod Bateman at #30.
*IT WOULD BE SURPRISING IF THE RAVENS DON’T TRADE THE 31ST SELECTION, ACQUIRED LAST WEEK FROM THE CHIEFS: Some believe the Ravens will package the 27th and 31st selections to move up, or trade down from #31.
