*HEROES (TEAM) – TENNESSEE: Seven of its eight wins are against franchises that reached the 2020 post-season. The remaining schedule is the easiest in the league based on current records.
*HERO (PLAYER) – MACK JONES: The Patriots rookie quarterback bounced back from two bad games with the best half of his young career (13 of 15, including seven of eight on third down) as the Patriots scored touchdowns in their first four possessions in the eventual 45-7 win over the Browns.
*HERO (COACH) – MATT RHULE: The Panthers were one step of the Cardinals from start to finish in their 34-14 road win over the 10½ point favored Cardinals.
*ZEROES (TEAM) – THE CHARGERS: Justin Herbert has taken a step back while offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi seems baffled and the defense can’t stop the run. Not surprisingly, Los Angeles has lost three one-score games.
*ZERO (PLAYER) – TEDDY BRIDGEWATER: The Broncos scored one touchdown and converted one of 11 third downs in a 17-point home loss to the Eagles. And, then there was the business decision non-tackle after a Broncos turnover.
*ZERO (COACH) – ROBERT SALEH: The defensive-minded first-year Jets head coach has watched his team allowed 45, 45 and 54 points in three of its last four games.
