KDUS AM 1060 and ASU Women’s Basketball and Baseball Ink New Deal

TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Athletics and Sun Devil Partnerships announced a five-year extension with Hubbard Radio Phoenix and KDUS AM 1060 Thursday for Sun Devil Women’s Basketball and Baseball broadcasts through the 2024-25 athletic year.

KDUS AM 1060 will continue to broadcast all women’s basketball and baseball home and road games as part of the ongoing partnership that goes back nearly two decades.

“We are thrilled to keep ASU Women’s Basketball and ASU Baseball on KDUS AM 1060 for years to come,” Kayla Mortellaro, Operations Coordinator said. “The excitement surrounding these programs just keeps getting bigger and better and we are happy to partner with ASU Athletics to continue to provide these elite programs a radio platform to fans across the Valley.”

“Extending our partnership with Hubbard Radio Phoenix through 2025 was very important to Sun Devil Athletics and our programs,” said Sun Devil Corporate Partnerships General Manager Brett Wallerstedt. “We’re excited our fans will continue to hear our women’s basketball and baseball coverage throughout the next five years on KDUS AM 1060.”

Women’s basketball broadcasts consist of a 30-minute pregame show, play-by-play, and a 30-minute post-game show. Two-time Arizona Sportscaster of the Year Jeff Munn returns for his 17th season as the Voice of Sun Devil Women’s Basketball.

Approximately 32 baseball games are broadcast throughout the season and consist of 15 minutes of pregame coverage, play-by-play, and concludes with a 15-minute post-game show. For the baseball broadcasts, Tim Healey is joined by former Sun Devil catcher and 2013 Team Captain Max Rossiter for color analysis.

KDUS 1060 AM also carries the weekly “Off the Bench with Charli Turner Thorne” show throughout the women’s basketball season and “Dugout Chatter with Tracy Smith” throughout the baseball season. Both shows air on Wednesday nights from 7 to 7:30 p.m. “Off the Bench” begins with the start of Pac-12 conference play with the first “Dugout Chatter” airing after the conclusion on the women’s basketball season.
