Meet The Hosts:
Marlon Jones: Marlon is a native of Mesa, Arizona and a Dobson High School graduate. At Dobson, he earned First Team All State, First Team All Arizona and All American honors in basketball. He would then go on to Arizona State University on a basketball scholarship for two seasons before transferring to Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California. He finished his college career as one of the all-time leaders in field goal percentage at Westmont College. After college, Marlon and his family launched Desert Ice Enterprises, serving the Arizona Diamondbacks for over ten years, until they sold the business. Marlon is the co-founder and co-host of Cheap Shot Sports, a sports podcast. Marlon’s on the court accomplishments were rewarded with a 2016 induction into the City of Mesa Sports Hall of Fame.
Armon Williams: Armon played college football at the University of Arizona where he earned First Team All-Pac 10 honors in 1995 and 1996. He would be drafted in the 7th round of the 1997 NFL Draft and played in the NFL from 1997 to 1999. After football, Armon took his talents to the stage as a professional standup comedian. His career took off after getting discovered by a talent scout in LA who invited him to be part of a nationally syndicated XM Satellite radio show. Armon would later get the chance to perform at the world-famous Hollywood Improv. As part of his travels, Armon has worked with Patrice O’Neal, David Allen Grier, Mark Curry, Tony Roberts and Deon Cole. Armon works as an actor, model and television sports analyst.
