TEMPE, Ariz. — Senior QB Mike Bercovici met with the media following ASU’s final practice before Saturday’s game against No. 7 UCLA. The fifth-year senior is completing 59.2% of his passes and has thrown for only 1,071 yards through the first four games of the season. In his three starts last year, Bercovici threw for 1,243 yards. Finding their offensive groove should be the Devils’ primary objective.
Bercovici spoke about the team’s response to the 42-14 loss to USC at home and how they’ve been preparing for the Bruins. Bercovici will also be making his second start in his hometown of Los Angeles. Last year he led the Sun Devils to a miraculous Hail Mary win over USC, but beating the 4-0 Bruins will be a much tougher task.
